Centers
Independent Reading:
Small predictable books that have been practiced in class; poetry binders; read-around the room; pocket charts or experience charts. The children stay in the story corner and read aloud to themselves.

ABC's Center:
We go through ever letter each day. uppercase and lowercase. Then we make a list of words that start with those letters,then draw pictures to go with them.

Writing Center
The writing center is where we practice our handwriting. We help them learn to follow picture directions and learn colors. We let them draw,then later on we have them to write about what they drew.

Indoor and Outdoor Playground
We have an indoor and outdoor playground set, because here at Tender Care we believe that exercise is very important to building up the physical and social skills of young kids.
